Daithí is an Irish multi-instrumentalist producer that has long had a fascination with capturing organic sounds. Bedded in electronica, Daithí’s sound is a world of rich texture in the form of instrumental narratives, veering from deep house music to ambient arrangements.

This contemporary classical style has lended itself to scoring for media: with his capacity to reimagine the environment around him, and his ability to capture organic sounds & samples, he has excelled at creating scores that have been described as ’emotionally electronic’. This style was showcased for the critically acclaimed film
‘Lakelands’ in 2023 which earned him a prestigious Irish Film and Television Academy (IFTA) nomination.

In addition to working in film and television Daithi is one of Ireland’s most recognised electronic producers, having released multiple commercially and critically acclaimed eps, singles and albums, which have received multiple Choice Music Prize nominations. He has worked with internationally renowned artists such as Maverick Sabre, Orla Gartland, IAMAMIWHOAMI, Martin Hayes, Raye, Scroobius Pip. His career has seen him tour the World both as a headline act, and supporting musical legends such as De La Soul, DJ Shadow, Santigold, Chic, Disclosure, Duke Dumont, Two Door Cinema Club, Todd Terje & Daniel Avery.

He has amassed over 16 million streams on Spotify and his track ‘Mary Keane’s Introduction’ featuring vocal samples of his Grandmother was no 1 for six weeks on the Spotify viral charts. He is currently working on the feature film ‘Christy’, directed by Brendan Canty for the BBC and produced by Sleeper films.
